Let it be beautiful.
Some things are easier said than done.
If I can be completely honest, I am not over it.
Well… It’s like I’m not, but then I am.
I don’t know. But who really cares anyways?

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5, NIV).
So many people today are not really enjoying their lives because of the condition of their minds. They constantly dwell on negative, destructive, harmful thoughts. They don’t realize it, but the root cause of many of their problems is simply the fact that their thought life is out of control. They just dwell on any thought that comes.
More than ever, we have to understand that our lives follow our thoughts. If you think negative thoughts, then you’re going to live a negative life. If you think discouraging, hopeless thoughts, can’t-do-it thoughts, mediocre thoughts, then your life is going to go down that exact same pathway. That’s why we have to take captive every thought and renew our minds with the Word of God on a daily basis.
I want to challenge you today to think about what you’re thinking about. Don’t let those self-defeating thoughts linger in your mind. Instead, speak God’s promises over your life. Declare what He says about you. Take captive every thought and renew your mind daily. As you do, you’ll be empowered to move forward into the abundant life He has for you!

can’t apologize for the stage in life that I’m in.
can’t force myself to be someone I’m not.
can’t be who people want me to be.
well, maybe I could. but I’m just not here for that.
Around this time of year, there are FIVE main things that I really don’t care for.
Oh wait. Something else: Getting kisses from church ladies with Red lipstick.
Feel free to ignore this whole post. It’s pointless. The list kept getting longer the more I thought about what I didn’t like.
Jesus is the Reason for the Season though. *Kirk Franklin voice* Happy Holidays.
On the low, I am really into architecture and design. I also like angles, textures, colors… I like how spaces can be transformed.
Until I have my own space, I’ll just stick to photos.
reality check. love this :)
Are you authentic in who you are/what you believe or are you perpetrating a fraud? Are you living off of your own reputation of being one way, instead of actually living up to it?
These are questions that I’ve been asking myself. By now I am sure that I have shared my favorite quote enough but here it is again: “Your words have power only to the degree that your life reflects your message.” I posted it on Instagram (my favorite thing), commenting that I was currently trying to make sure that my words and lifestyle match up.
For example, I say I am a Christian but I have to wonder if my life reflects Christ. I tell people that I play the violin but *thinks back to last semester* No. It’s been a minuteeee. The strings have been popped since the summer… 0_o
But yeah, this photo really struck me because of the contrasts between the advertisement and the “actual.” It’s pretty self explanatory. I don’t know which one is more pathetic because they all are. If I had to choose one, Taco Bell Crunchy Taco hurt me the most. It’s just limp.
The thing is, people can see you. They see what you’re saying and they see what you’re doing. Doesn’t always have to be a negative thing though.
Anyways, we can look at our own lives and judge ourselves. I’m not here to judge anyone.
